This section reflects the products currently being offered by ICTV through its unique infomercial and retail sales marketing strategy. Categories such as health and beauty, fitness, home and garden, educational products, outdoor equipment and children's toys are undertaken if they meet the criteria of being high quality, high margin, high volume products that can be effectively branded and sold both in the US and internationally.
ICTV has an exclusive world wide license to manufacture and market the DermaWand, an in-home radio frequency skin care device that helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improves overall skin appearance.
The long-form infomercial for DermaWand has run successfully on US and international television for five years selling more than one million units to date.
A US media expenditure of $15 million has the product primed for a retail launch in late 2012. A completely new long-form show is currently in post production and is expected to begin airing in November 2011. DermaWand presentations on live home shopping networks have also proved particularly effective.
DermaVitál® is a unique brand of essential skin care products developed by ICTV to be marketed in conjunction with the DermaWand®.
ICTV's "Fountain of Youth" skin care range features the unique DermaVitál® Hydra Infusion Treatment, which is a system specifically formulated to allow water to penetrate the skin's surface and re-hydrate the deeper layers. Dermatologists and other medical experts agree that dehydration is the major cause of skin aging and DermaVitál® has prepared this unique moisturizer which has properties enabling it to draw water past the resilient, waterproof surface of the skin and deep into sub-cutaneous layers. The result is a deeper moisturization that softens, hydrates, enhances and supports the skin's own natural functions. Hydra Infusion Treatment is supported by pure, chemical-free water specially prepared for use with DermaVitál® and the combined use of these products will effectively diminish dryness, fine lines, enlarged pores and other signs of premature aging.
In the United States, customers receive DermaVital® products with their DermaWand® and are offered the opportunity to join the DermaVital® monthly continuity shipment program. DermaVital® is also sold via the web as a stand-alone product brand.
ICTV owns all marketing, manufacturing and intellectual property rights to the patented plastic toy building system known as BetterBlocks. More than six billion individual blocks have been sold by infomercial, mail order catalogs, retail and QVC shopping channel. In one 24-hour period, $1.3 million of product was sold on QVC and in 1996 BetterBlocks was the recipient of the Parents Choice Award. With the huge resurgence of interest in the children's construction set market, the company is set to re-release the most successful model, the Glow-In-The-Dark block, under the name "Glo-B's" with new packaging, new models and a completely new DRTV commercial which will be aired on Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and other children's channels. "Glo-B's" will also feature on the shopping channels to build brand awareness in preparation for a mainstream retail launch later in 2012. Internet research and international enquiries has indicated a pent-up demand for BetterBlocks and the company anticipates that "Glo-B's" will be enthusiastically received by the consumers.
Slender Lift is an all–new patented linear slimming system designed to be worn with control top panty hose, slimming garments, and high-waisted panties. The effect is a slimmer and longer body line by holding in bulges and reducing the ugliness of back fat, "muffin tops", tummy "spare tires" and panty lines – and at the same time improving posture, reducing back strain and enhancing and redefining the bust. Slender Lift is currently slated to make its market debut on Shop NBC September 2011 and from there the company's marketing initiatives will prepare the Slender Lift for retail release in the near future.
ICTV recently introduced the Strike N' Set fishing lure system in a short-form DRTV commercial. The company will be scheduling to air the commercial aggressively in the near future. Plans to bring the product to retail are underway and international orders are already being fulfilled.
